Writing to your child

You can send your letter through mail or e-mail. We will forward it to the respective World Vision office and they will translate it into local language.

International mailing and local delivery are suspended or delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Don't forget to check the latest postal arrangement before posting the letter.

You may also write an eLetter below to show your care to your sponsored child.

Getting Started

You can ...

Choose some nice letter papers and cute stickers for your child! Tell him/her about your family or everyday life and share a photo of yourself
Invite your child to share about his/her family, school life, favourite subjects and hobbies; write words of encouragement

For your attention:

Keep your letter short for ease of translation into your child's native language
Avoid sensitive topics such as wealth, religion and politics
Please mark your sponsored child's name and ID number, as well as your name and partner number on the letter
To protect your privacy, do not disclose your contact details, such as address, e-mail or phone number
World Vision staff will check and, if necessary, delete contents that are inappropriate to the child's local context or contain contact details
